Terms of Service

1. The Marketplace

Outfitter Exchange provides a venue connecting buyers and sellers of used hunting, fishing, and outdoor equipment. We are not a party to the sale itself — the seller is solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and the condition of the item sold. All users must also follow our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Payments & Escrow-Style Holding

All payments are processed through Trustap, which holds funds in an escrow-style account until delivery is confirmed. Outfitter Exchange's 12% commission is deducted automatically from the seller's payout at the time of sale — there is no separate billing for listing or selling. Outfitter Exchange does not directly handle or store payment card information.

3. Fees

Listing an item on Outfitter Exchange is free. If an item sells, Outfitter Exchange charges a 12% commission on the sale price, deducted automatically from the seller's payout at the time funds are released. No fee is owed if an item does not sell. Buyers separately pay a 1% Trustap Buyer Protection Fee at checkout.

4. Prohibited Items

Firearms, ammunition, and other regulated weapons may not be listed on Outfitter Exchange.

5. Limitation of Liability

Outfitter Exchange is not liable for the condition, legality, or safety of items exchanged between users, beyond facilitating the escrow-style holding and dispute process through our payment partner.
