Posting a listing costs nothing, no matter how many you post. If it sells, Outfitter Exchange takes a 12% commission out of the sale — nothing upfront, nothing if it never sells. Buyers pay the item price plus shipping and a 1% + $0.40 Trustap escrow-style fee, both shown at checkout before anything is charged.

What a buyer pays

Item price
Set by the seller and shown on the listing. This is the only part the seller receives — our 12% commission comes out of their payout, never added to your total.
Shipping
Calculated at checkout from the package weight and the seller's ship-from location, so heavier gear traveling farther costs more than a small item shipping across the state. Every order ships tracked — no meetups required.
Trustap buyer protection fee
A 1% + $0.40 fee, charged by Trustap, our payment provider that holds funds in an escrow-style account, and added on top of the item price. It is what holds your payment securely until you confirm the gear arrived as described — if it never shows or is not what was advertised, that money is still protected rather than already in a stranger's pocket.

You will always see shipping and the protection fee itemized at checkout, before any payment is taken.
